The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The bidder should provide details of works underway or contractually committed, and clients who may be contacted for further information on those contracts. The bidder should have prior work experience in civil engineering construction works, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh and 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh, in any one year. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as a prime contractor, at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The bidder should have executed, in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, the bidder should have experience of similar work, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB, excluding maintenance cost for four years. This value should not be less than one third of the contract value. The value and percentage of similar works completed include: - 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value - 1/3rd of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB - 40% of the estimated quantity of major items - 60% of the DNIT value up to Rs. 200 Lakh - 75% of the DNIT value for more than Rs. 200 Lakh - 90% of the contract value - 25% of the DNIT value (for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers)
