The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. Additionally, for subcontractors, they must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder's average annual contractual turnover should be at least the advertised value of the tender divided by the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The minimum average annual contractual turnover is V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The bidder must also furnish details of the maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year, which should be duly verified by a Chartered Accountant. In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For tenders having an advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh, no technical and financial credentials are required.
