Northeast Frontier Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value (excluding the payment made for adjustment of Price variation) has been made to the contractor. For subletting of work, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor shall be asked for. The bidder should have prior work experience in the type of job for which the tender is invited. The value of similar work completed should be at least 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work. The bidder should also provide certificates and testimonials regarding contracting experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited, along with a list of works carried out in the past. The percentages and amounts mentioned are: - 30% of advertised value of the tender - 40% of advertised value of the tender - 60% of advertised value of the tender - 90% of the present contract value - 35% value of work to be subletted - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work.
