The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completion of works of similar nature in the current and last three financial years. The bidder should provide a list of such works and a Work Completion Certificate. The tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have completed similar works for each component, with values of 30%, 40%, or 60% of the advertised value of each component. The value of completed work is considered as the final bill amount, including the PVC amount, if paid. If the final bill is pending, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered as the completion cost of work. Specific values and percentages of similar works completed are mentioned in the schedules: - Earth work: 1319940.27 (original value) and 1099308.96 (final value), with a percentage of 20.07. - Concrete work: 5629140.09 (original value) and 4688215.28 (final value), with a percentage of 20.07. - Steel work: 3272784.73 (original value) and 2725730.60 (final value), with a percentage of 20.07. - Misc Work: 10597120.19 (original value) and 8825785.12 (final value), with a percentage of 20.07. The required prior work experience for the bidder also includes the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, which shall be considered as the completion cost of work or the cost of substantially completed work. In case a work is considered similar in nature, the overall cost, including the PVC amount, of that completed work or substantially completed work shall be considered, and no separate evaluation for each component of that work shall be made to decide eligibility. The bidder should have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V = Advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N = Number of years prescribed for completion of work for which bids have been invited. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years, as per the audited balance sheet. Similar Nature of Work is defined as "Any Building works with framed structure." For a subcontractor, the required experience is at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required.
