The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any of the following during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder needs to provide information on the name of the work, name of the organization for whom the work was completed, type of organization, contract agreement number and date, original value of the contract agreement, final value of the contract as completed, payment received, time taken for completion of work, and principal feature of the work in brief. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For subcontracting, the subcontractor shall have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor is required.
