The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing similar works during the last 7 years. The similar works can be: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The total value of similar nature of works completed during the qualifying period shall be considered. Additionally, for special technical criteria, work experience certificates issued by public listed companies having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years are also considered. A component in a composite work shall be considered separate only when the cost of the component is more than 2 crore each. The bidder must provide a list of works completed in the last three financial years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of scheduled completion of work. The bidder is also required to provide the approximate value of contract at the time of award and the final value of contract for the works completed in the last three financial years. Specific values such as 350 cum of earth work, 30 cum of cement concrete, 22 cum of cement concrete, 150 sqm of damp-proof course, and 500 bags of cement for water proofing material are mentioned, but these are related to the items and quantities of the work to be done, not the prior work experience of the bidder.
