The required prior work experience for the bidder includes completing similar works with specific values. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last 7 years, with the following requirements: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than Rs 7.46 Crores (40% of estimated cost) - OR - Two similar completed works each costing not less than Rs 11.18 Crores (60% of estimated cost) - OR - One similar completed work each costing not less than Rs 14.91 Crores (80% of estimated cost) For building works, the number of storeys to be constructed in the proposed building and the number of storeys to be mentioned in the definition of similar work are as follows: - Up to four storey buildings: No binding - Five to ten storey buildings: Minimum one building of Five storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to five storeys - Eleven to fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Eight storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to Eight storeys - More than fifteen storey buildings: Minimum one building of Ten storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to Ten storeys. The bidder should furnish the following information regarding prior work experience: - List of all works of similar nature successfully completed during the last seven years in Form “C”. - The Performance Report of Similar works in Form “D”. The value of completed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing at a simple rate of 7% per annum. For the CCTV System component, the bidder should have completed: - One similar work with a value of not less than 80% of the cost of the component, - Two similar works, each with a value of not less than 60% of the cost of the component, - Three similar works, each with a value of not less than 40% of the cost of the component. The bidder should have experience in similar class of works, with the following requirements: - For building work: - Completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) with a minimum of five storeys, - Or, eleven to fifteen storey buildings, with a minimum of one building of eight storeys, - Or, more than fifteen storey buildings, with a minimum of one building of ten storeys. - For any civil work other than building work: - If there is a significant component in the work other than normal building work, this component should be considered as the main component of the work. - The bidder should have executed at least one similar work with a minimum of one basement under one agreement if the work involves construction of two or more basements. The evaluation of experience in similar class of works is as follows: - 60% marks for minimum eligibility criteria - 100% marks for twice the minimum eligibility criteria or more - In between (i) & (ii) – on pro-rata basis The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover (gross) of 745.58 Lakh on Civil/Electrical construction work during the last three consecutive financial years, and the bidder should have average annual turnover worth minimum 40% of the estimated cost. The bidder should also demonstrate access to liquid assets and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the value of the contract/contracts applied for. The bidding capacity of the contractor should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work put to tender.
