The bidder is required to have experience as a Prime Contractor in their own country and other countries. They should have experience in specific areas such as heavy earthmoving equipment, quality control in compaction of soils, soil and Materials Testing Laboratory, Machanised granular pavement construction, construction of asphaltic overlays, construction of Bridge works, and construction of Bridge Works in Open Foundations & Pile foundations. The bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract, which is Rs. 99.80 lakhs, in any one year within the last five years. This experience should be in similar nature of work, including Highway Road and/or Bridge works/Airport contract. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the value of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 99.80 lakhs, over the last five years. They should also have completed works similar in size, nature, and complexity to the envisaged contract works, including a minimum quantity of 471.65 Cum of BC, in any one year during the last five years. For contracts above Rs.2.00 Crore and up to Rs.10.00 Crore, the bidder should have specific personnel with experience, including one B.E Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with one-year experience in similar works and one Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with five years’ experience in similar works. The required prior work experience includes completion of a contract with a value of at least 40% of the proposed contract value (Rs. 99.80 lakhs) and an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the contract value applied for (Rs. 99.80 lakhs) over the last five years. The bidder should also demonstrate access to liquid assets, working capital, or credit facilities of at least Rs. 24.95.
