The proposed contract value is 489.40 Lakhs, so the bidder should have completed a contract of at least 195.76 Lakhs (40% of 489.40 Lakhs) in one year. The required prior work experience for the bidder also includes: - B.E Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with one year experience in similar works - Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering with five years’ experience in similar works The bidder should demonstrate that they have adequate financial resources and access to or have available liquid assets (working capital, cash in hand) and / or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the contract applied for the construction. The estimated value of the contract is 489.40 Lakhs. The bidder should have a sound financial position, showing long-term profitability, including an estimated financial projection for the next two years. The available bid capacity will be calculated based on the maximum value of construction works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level, with a rate of inflation taken as 10% per year. The bidder's current bid capacity should be more than the total estimated cost of the works, which is 489.40 Lakhs. The cash-flow may be taken as 10% of the estimated value of the contract, with a minimum of 49.00 Lakhs.
