The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a B.E Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with one year experience in similar works and Diploma Holders in Civil Engineering with five years’ experience in similar works. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the value of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 188.80 Lakhs, over the last five years. The bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract, which is Rs. 188.80 Lakhs, in any one year within the last five years. The contract should be for Highway Road and/or Bridge works and/or Airport contract. The bidder should also demonstrate experience in similar nature of work, including minimum quantities of works completed in any one year during the last five years, such as: - GSB (Grade III & V): 551.00 Cum - WMM: 846.00 Cum - BM Patch / BM / DBM: 269.00 Cum - BC / CGPC: 339.00 Cum - VCC / PCC: 156.00 Cum - VRCC / RCC: 13.00 Cum The bidder should have prior work experience of similar size, nature, and complexity to the envisaged contract works. The required value and percentage of similar works completed is 40% of the value of the proposed contract, which is Rs. 188.80 Lakhs. The bidder is required to provide information on their capability and adequacy of resources to carry out the contract. The bidder should have a registration under Class I with a money limit of Rs. 75.00 Lakhs above in the Highways Department in the Government of Tamil Nadu. The bid capacity to execute the work should be greater than Rs. 472.00 Lakhs. The applicant should have access to or have available liquid assets (working capital, cash in hand) and/or credit facilities of not less than 10% of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 47.20 Lakhs.
