The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a B.E Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with one-year experience in similar works and a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with five years’ experience in similar works. The bidder should have experience as a Prime Contractor and as a Sub-contractor. They should also have experience in using heavy earthmoving equipment, quality control in compaction of soils, soil and Materials Testing Laboratory, Machanised granular pavement construction, construction of asphaltic overlays, and construction of Bridge works. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of at least 40% of the value of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 205.56 lakhs, over the last five years. The bidder should have also successfully completed at least one contract of at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract, which is Rs. 205.56 lakhs, in any one year within the last five years. The contract should be for Highway Road and/or Bridge works or Airport contract, with minimum quantities of works completed in any one year during the last five years, such as: - DBM/BM: 91.90 Cum - BC: 124.66 Cum - PCC/VCC: 70.40 Cum - VRCC/RCC: 516.86 Cum - Steel: 25.60 MT The value and percentage of similar works completed are 40% of the value of the contract applied for, which is Rs. 205.56 lakhs. The bidder should demonstrate experience in similar nature of work, with specific values mentioned for different types of works.
