The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having a B.E Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with one-year experience in similar works and a Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with five years’ experience in similar works. The bidder should have experience as a Prime Contractor and a Sub-contractor. They should also have experience in using heavy earthmoving equipment, quality control in compaction of soils, soil and Materials Testing Laboratory, Machanised granular pavement construction, construction of asphaltic overlays, and construction of Bridge works. The bidder should have achieved an average annual turnover of 40% of the value of the contract applied for, over the last five years, which is Rs. 182.64 lakhs. The bidder should have successfully completed at least one contract of at least 40% of the value of the proposed contract in any one year within the last five years, which is also Rs. 182.64 lakhs. The experience in similar nature of work should include the completion of a certain quantity of works in one year during the last five years, such as: - DBM/BM: 284.52 Cum - BC: 370.95 Cum - PCC/VCC: 28.50 Cum - VRCC/RCC: 184.07 Cum - Granite Stone Slab: 228.00 Sqm - Granite Stone Kerb: 114.00 Rm - Steel: 9.12 MT The bidder should have sufficient tools and plants to complete the work and required bid capacity to execute the work, which should be greater than Rs.456.60 lakhs. The bidder should also demonstrate access to liquid assets, working capital, or credit facilities of at least Rs. 45.66 lakhs. The contract should be for Highway Road and/or Bridge works or Airport contract, with the bidder having prior work experience in Civil Engineering Construction Business, including road and bridge works. The percentage of similar works completed is 40% of the value of the contract applied for. The amount is Rs. 182.64 lakhs.
