The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work. The value of this similar work should be equal to one-third of the estimated cost of work for which the bid is invited, or one-fourth in case of certain Naxal / Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts. In terms of financial requirements, the bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover, equivalent to 60% of the amount put to bid if the amount is Rs.200 lakhs or less, and 75% of the amount put to bid if it is more than Rs.200 lakhs, with at least 50% of the turnover being from Civil Engineering construction works. The bidder must produce the detail experience of the technical personnel and the curricular vitae (CV) during signing of agreement, but no specific years of experience are mentioned.
