The required prior work experience for the bidder includes Works Experience & Annual Turn Over, and a list of projects executed that are similar in nature to the work. The bidder should provide information on their working experience, including the total value of civil engineering construction work performed in the last five years, with a certificate from a Chartered Accountant. The bidder should have completion or substantial completion of similar nature of works, with major items such as DBM/ BM/ BC/SDBC/PMC/Seal Coat/ Surface Dressing / WMM /WBM /CC Pavement, of one work of Rs.141.81 lakh (i.e. 50% of the estimated cost) during the last 5 years from the Base Year. The bidder should also have a minimum annual turnover of civil construction works of Rs. 283.61 Lakh (equal to the estimated cost) in any one year over the last five years from the Base Year. The value of work executed by the bidder shall be updated to the current price level using an escalation factor of 10% per year. The percentage of similar works completed mentioned is 50% of the estimated cost, which corresponds to Rs.141.81 lakh.
