The required prior work experience for the bidder is that they must have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work for which the bid is invited, or one-fourth in Naxal / Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts. The estimated cost of the work is Rs. 200 lakhs. The bidder should have achieved a minimum financial turnover of 60% of the amount put to bid if the amount is Rs.200 lakhs or less, and 75% of the amount put to bid if it is more than Rs.200 lakhs, with at least 50% of the turnover being from Civil Engineering construction works. However, in Naxal / Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts, the figure of 75% would be replaced by 50%. Additionally, the bidder must produce the detail experience of the technical personnel and the curricular vitae (CV) during signing of agreement, and provide information on similar nature of works executed and works in hand. The bidder is also required to provide information on annual turnover, with a breakup of civil works and total works in each financial year for the last five years. The bid security shall be 2 percent of the estimated value of the works, rounded off to the nearest thousand. The turnover will be indexed at the rate of 8% per year.
