Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana Tender

The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder should also have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. They must provide details of works in progress or contractually committed, along with certificates from the concerned officer not below the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent. In terms of specific values, if the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs, the bidder should have a minimum annual turnover of 75% of the amount put to bid. The bidder should have completed a similar work equal in value to one-third (one-fourth in case of Naxal / LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of work, and at least one similar work with a value of at least 30% (or 25% in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work for which the bid is invited. The bidder can subcontract components of the works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price. The bidder must provide the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years. The available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance, calculated based on the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the price level of the last year at the rate of 8 percent a year. The bidder should also provide evidence of ownership of major items of construction equipment or evidence of arrangement of possessing them on hire/lease/buying, and provide details of works in hand and machineries owned or on lease or possessed on hire, along with certificates showing details of similar nature of works, work in hand, and machineries owned or on lease or possessed on hire. The amount of Bid Security shall be Rs. 14.50 Lacs, which is 2 percent of the estimated value of the Works, rounded off to the nearest thousand.
