The bidder should have experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. They must have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work, or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts. The value of road work completed under a specific scheme shall be counted as 120% for this purpose. The bidder's experience includes work performed as prime Contractor and Sub-Contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. They should provide details of works in progress or contractually committed, along with certificates from the concerned officer. The total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years should also be provided. Additionally, the bidder can subcontract components of the works, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price. The average annual financial turnover required is 60% of the estimated cost of work, or Rs 139.43 lacs, whichever is higher, and 75% if the amount put to bid is more than Rs. 200 lakhs, with reduced percentages of 50% for Naxal/Left Wing Extremist Affected Districts.
