The required prior work experience for the bidder is experience in construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed, as prime Contractor or sub-contractor, at least one similar work equal in value to one-third of the estimated cost of work, excluding maintenance cost for five years. In case of Naxal / LWE affected districts, the value of similar work completed should be equal to one-fourth of the estimated cost of work. The estimated cost of works is 147.50 lacs. For technical personnel, the experience required is 2 years for a degree holder in Civil Engineering and 3 years for a diploma holder in Civil Engineering. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, and the value of road work completed under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this sub-clause. The bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value excluding maintenance. The bid security amount is given as Rs.8.85 Lacs, which is 2 percent of the estimated value of the works. The bidder should provide information on work performed as prime Contractor or sub-contractor on construction works of a similar nature and volume over the last five years, with certificates from the Engineer-in-charge. The bidder should also provide the total monetary value of civil construction works performed for each of the last five years and proposals for subcontracting the components of the Works for construction/up-gradation, aggregating to not more than 25 percent of the Contract Price.
