The required prior work experience for the bidder includes: - A Degree Holder in Civil Engineering with 2 years of experience in road works for projects up to 5.00 crores, and 3 years of experience for projects above 5.00 crores. - A Diploma Holder in Civil Engineering with 3 years of experience in road works. - A Work Supervisor with 3 years of experience in road works. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work equal in value to one-third (or one-fourth in case of Naxal/LWE affected districts) of the estimated cost of the work. The value of road work completed by the bidder under Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana in the originally stipulated period of completion shall be counted as 120% for the purpose of this requirement. The bidder can subcontract up to 25 percent of the contract price. They should invest a minimum of 25% of the contract value during the implementation of the work. The bidder's total annual volume of civil engineering construction work executed and payments received in the last five years preceding the year in which bids are invited should be provided. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed the similar work as a prime contractor or sub-contractor during the last five years.
