The bidder should have prior work experience of carrying out works of similar magnitude satisfactorily. The experience requirements include having completed works in the last seven consecutive financial years in various sectors. Specifically, the bidder should have completed works of similar nature with the following value requirements: - One work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the bid value, - Or two works of similar nature each costing not less than 50% of the bid value, - Or three works of similar nature each costing not less than 40% of the bid value. Additionally, the bidder's available bid capacity for construction work should be equal to or more than the total bid value, calculated based on a formula considering the maximum value of civil engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, and other factors such as existing commitments and ongoing works. The formula for Assessed Available Bid capacity is given as (AM / N) - (M / B * 100), where AM is the maximum value of civil engineering works, N is the number of years for completion, M is the value of existing commitments, and B is the value of the bid.
