The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The value and percentage of similar works completed are as follows: - The annual financial turnover amount: 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of respective value of work mentioned in IFB. - Value of similar work: 1/3rd of respective value of work in IFB (Not less than one third of contract value). - Quantities of works are: 40% of estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. Additionally, the bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value, and should have completed a similar work with a value of at least 1/3rd of the contract value. Relaxation in qualification criteria is also provided for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers, with a minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT value. The bidder should also provide information on the quantities of work executed as a prime contractor in the last 5 years, including details of the work performed. A certificate of similar nature of work done, issued by the authorized Engineer in-charge, is required. The bidder should have evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities, with a minimum of 10% of the notified contract value, certified by the bankers.
