The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - 1/3rd of the respective value of work in IFB (not less than one third of the contract value). - 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in IFB, as the annual financial turnover amount. - 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. - A completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value for similar work. - Minimum quantities of major items of work executed in any one year, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. Additionally, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, there is a relaxation in the qualification criteria: - Minimum annual financial turnover of 25% of the DNIT in any one year. - Exemption from single similar nature of work performed as prime contractor. The bidder should provide certificates from the Engineer-in-charge for the similar works completed, and the quantities of work executed for all main items of work.
