The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed works of a similar nature in the last 5 years, with a value of at least 1/3rd of the respective value of work in the IFB. The annual financial turnover of the bidder should be at least 67% of the DNIT value in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in the IFB. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Value of similar work: 1/3rd of the respective value of work in IFB (not less than one third of contract value) - Annual financial turnover amount: 67% of the DNIT value, in any one year of the respective value of work mentioned in IFB. Additionally, the bidder should have completed quantities of works, which are 40% of the estimated quantity of major items as detailed in the online Bill of Quantities. The bidder should also have a minimum annual financial turnover (in all classes of civil engineering construction works only) of 67% of the DNIT in any one year. However, for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers of Assam, the minimum annual financial turnover is relaxed to 25% of the DNIT in any one year. The bidder is also required to have prior work experience as a prime contractor in works of a similar nature, including work of a similar nature performed as prime contractor over the last five years, and quantities of work executed as prime contractor of all main items of work described in the bid document, in the five years. Key personnel with adequate experience are also required, including a Project Manager, Site Engineer, Plant Engineer, Quantity Surveyor, and Soil & Material Engineer, with specific educational and experience requirements. Evidence of access to or availability of credit facilities (minimum 10% of notified contract value) certified by the bankers is also required. The bidder should also provide a list of existing commitments with the value of remaining work as on the date of submission of the bid.
