The required prior work experience for the bidder includes the value of similar work, which should be at least 1/3rd of the contract value, equivalent to 33.33% of the contract value. Additionally, the quantities of works should be 40% of the estimated quantity of major items. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed at least one similar work of value not less than 1/3 (one third) of the DNIT value, with a completion rate of not less than 90% of the contract value. The liquid assets or availability of credit facilities should be 10% of the contract value. The assessed available bid capacity is as per clause 4.7. In terms of specific requirements, the bidder should have executed a single similar work as a prime contractor, with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover of 67% of the DNIT value in any one year. The bidder should have executed in any one year, the minimum quantities of the major items of work, usually not less than 40% of the estimated quantity. The cost of completed works of previous years shall be given weightage of 10% per year based on rupee value to bring them to the present price level. The bidder should have completed a minimum quantity of major items of work, including Earthwork, GSB, WBM/WMM, BM/DBM, SDBC/BC, ICBP, OGPC, and RCC, in the last five years. The relaxation in qualification criteria for unemployed Graduate/Diploma Engineers includes a relaxation in the minimum annual financial turnover to 25% of the DNIT and exemption from the single similar nature of work performed as a prime contractor, valid up to a period of 5 years from the date of issue of registration or 6 number of works, whichever is earlier.
