The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years. The specific requirements are: i) Three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender OR ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost put to tender OR iii) One similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. The estimated cost put to tender is approximately Rs. 3,48,80,504.00. For building work, the bidder should have completed: - For seven to ten storeys buildings: minimum one building of five storeys or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to five storey. - For more than ten storey buildings: minimum one building of eight storey or completing balance construction work of one building (including structural work) minimum up to eight storey. In case the work involves construction of two or more basements, the bidder should have executed one similar work with a minimum of one basement under one agreement. The bidder should possess valid licenses for executing electrical and other allied works, and should have executed similar electrical works under Govt./Semi Govt./PSU for a minimum amount of 40% of electrification works. The value of executed works shall be brought to current costing level by enhancing the actual executed value of work at a simple interest rate of 7% per annum. The bidder should have an average annual financial turnover amount of 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. The bidder should have experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. The total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years should be provided. The quantities of work executed as prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor will be considered. The bidder's experience of having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years should be in the same name and style. The bidder should have evidence of access to line(s) of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities. The bidder should have an undertaking that the bidder will be able to invest a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the work. The bidder should have authority to seek references from the bidder’s bankers. The bidder should have information regarding any litigation, current or during the last five years, in which the bidder is involved, including the parties concerned and the disputed amount. The bidder should have the proposed methodology and program of construction, backed with equipment planning and deployment, duly supported with broad calculations and quality control procedures proposed to be adopted, justifying their capability of execution and completion of the work as per technical specification within the stipulated period of completion milestones. The bidder should have a minimum cash of 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the work. The bidder should have access to financial resources to meet the qualification requirements, including cash in hand, lines of credit, etc. The bidder should have evidence of access to lines of credit and availability of other financial resources facilities (10% of contract value), certified by the bankers, and not more than 1 month old. The bidder should have total monetary value of construction work performed during each of the last five years.
