The bidder is required to have prior work experience in Civil Engineering construction and/or maintenance works, specifically in highway constructions/maintenance work. The required prior work experience includes: - Experience in works of a similar nature and size for each of the last five years. - Completion of similar works as a prime contractor or as a partner of JV, during the last five years, with specific values: - Three similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 109.13 lac each. - Two similar completed works costing not less than Rs. 152.77 lac each. - One similar completed work costing not less than Rs. 218.24 lac. - The works should be completed to at least 90% of the contract value. - Average annual financial turnover of a specified amount in all classes of civil engineering construction and maintenance works only, during the last three years. - Minimum Average Annual Turnover of Rs. 436.48 lac, or - Single Work of Rs. 218.24 lac (minimum 50% of estimated cost of work), or - Two similar works each of Rs. 152.77 lac (minimum 35% of estimated cost of work), or - Three similar works each of Rs. 109.13 lac (minimum 25% of estimated cost of work). The bidder should provide certificates from the concerned officer of the rank of Executive Engineer or equivalent or higher for each of the similar works completed in the last five years.
