DEGASSING AND CLEANING OF STORAGE VESSEL WITH IOCL SUPPLIED WATER (Please note that IOCL shall provide Water for only one vessel, it shallbe responsibility of the contractor to make arrangements to shift waterfrom one vessel to another) after making necessary connections for inand out flow with suitable pipelines/hoses arrangement (all arrangementsto be made by contractor) as directed by the Site-in-Charge. The waterfor degassing has to be used for subsequent Vessels by making necessaryhose/ pipe/ siphon arrangement for the transfer. Sludge, if any, shallbe carefully removed and disposed off/kept in a safe place as directedby the site-in-charge. The sludge shall be handled wet and buried as perthe direction of the Engineer-In-Charge for avoiding ignition of Pyro-Phoric Iron Compounds. If required, a sample of sludge shall besubmitted to the Plant

DISCONNECTING THE INLET, OUTLET OF THE STORAGE VESSEL LPG liquid & Vaporlines, SRV, Manhole, Drain line, Globe Valves, ROV, HLA, Servo Gauges, Radar Gauges, Temparature Transmitter and Other fittings along with disconnections of electrical cables (wherever required) without any damage as per the direction of the site engineer/ Third party inspection official team to enable easy approach to all the areasinside the entire Storage Vessel. Any damage for the fittings or any equipments during removal & fixing of the connection to be made good by the tenderer. Rate to be quoted lump sum per bullet. (2 x 600 MT Mounded bullets) Scope includes supply and providing complete replacement of new HT studs, nuts with washers, spiral wound metallic asbestos gaskets confirming to 300 class for the flange joints loosened / isolated / disconnected for facilitating the works as per standards. Required blind flanges also to be arranged by the contractor only, however the same shall remain property of the contractor after completion of the work.

PROVIDING MS TUBULAR SCAFFOLDING inside of the Storage vessel suitably for cleaning of inner surface and for suitably carrying out allStatutory NDT testing like UFD, UTG, MPI, Hardness, DPT etc. as requiredunder SMPV (U)Rules and as per OISD-150. Contractor has to arrange allequipments and consumables required for carrying out the job. Suitable arrangement by way of providing blower / exhaust fan and breathing apparatus, safety belts for working personnel is to be made by the contractor as required. (a) All the weld joints of the vessel shall be examined through Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques e.g.,radiography, Wet Magnetic Particle Test (WPT), Dye Penetration Test(DPT), Ultrasonic Flaw detection to ensure the integrity of the joints.(b) The wall thickness of the vessel shall be measured Ultrasonically.Scaffoldings shall have to be retained at site till the completion of all the MSV testing ( Approximate size of one mounded Vessel is 6.0 m dia and 48.23 m length.)
