The required prior work experience for the bidder can be fulfilled in the following manner: - Completion of a single work of similar nature costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of two works of similar nature, each costing not less than 50% of the estimated cost put to tender. - Completion of three works of similar nature, each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost put to tender. The experience can be achieved by either the JV itself or any one partner matching the requirement, or through a combination of partners completing the required number of works. The proportionate value of experience in proportion to actual share of bidder in that joint venture firm/partnership firm will be considered against eligibility, else it shall be taken as 100%. The cost of previous completed works will be given a simple weightage of 5% per year to bring them to the current price level. The estimated cost put to tender is above Rs. 2.0 Crores for Joint Venture participation. Additionally, the bidder should meet the minimum local content requirement, which is either equal to or more than 50% (for Class-I Local Suppliers) or more than 20% but less than 50% (for Class-II Local Suppliers). If the estimated value of procurement is more than Rs. 10 crores, the bidder should submit a certificate from the statutory auditor or cost auditor of the company, giving the percentage of local content.
