The required prior work experience for the bidder includes work experience certificates from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, - One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. The value of the final bill (gross amount) including the PVC amount (if paid) shall be considered as the completion cost of work. In case the final bill is pending, only the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount (if paid), shall be considered as the completion cost of work. For a subcontractor, the required prior work experience is at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. Specific values and percentages mentioned include: - 30% of advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 35% value of the work to be subletted for a subcontractor - Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover of public listed companies - Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required - 90% of the present contract value for substantially completed work - 60 days as the validity period for the credential certificate for substantially completed work.
