Laying, commissioning of LT/HT cable XLPE insulated power cables with armoured 1 aluminum conductors of different sizes (4 core 35/50 sqmm)partly along the pole and partly through ground in cable trench. Loading, unloading & carrying of cable to actual work site by contractor own arrangement as per instruction of Engineer in charge at site.

Excavation of cable trench below the GL with laying of armoured cable and refilling 2 the same by supply of Brick, Sand and riddled Soil after digging the earth as per direction of Engineer at site & connection of armoured Cable by supply and fixing of crimping lugs etc. As per attached CEGE/NFR DRG NO: PCEE/ELG/DRG/2024/2 dated 04.10.2024 & as per Technical circular no. EL/PS/2024/2 (Standardization of Drawing for power cable laying direct underground)

Supply and erection of earthing by made of B class GI pipe of 3000 mm length, 50 mm diameter & 3.6 mm thickness. The GI Strip ( should be welded with the earth pipe. The pipe is provided with a tapered casing at the lower end in order to facilitate the driving. A funnel with perforated plate to be provided at the top of the pipe for pouring water during dry season to have an 3 effective earth value.The connecting conductor from earth electrode to the distribution panel board should not be thinner than 8 SWG GI wire to carry the fault current. The earth fill shall be of homogeneous layer of common earth soil. Where soil restivity is high, earth restivity enhancing material may be used, Bentonite or similar earth enhancing material may be used in rocky soil. Earth box to be precasted RCC and The values of earth resistance measured should be painted on the Earth pit cover/lid along with the date of measurement. As per Drg.
