(C) ALTERNATOR
Alternator, suitable to deliver rated output at 1500 RPM, 380-440V 0.8 PF (lag), 50 Hz three phase in SPDP enclosure, , self excited & self regulated with brushless technology. The alternator conforms to IS: 4722 and IEC 34-1 & will suitable for tropical condition. Full load efficiency of the alternator offered should be above 90%, class of insulation shall be 'H'.

Suitable to couple the 600 KVA / 480KW Engine & Alternator made from steel sheet metal.
(E) FUEL TANK
Capacity of the fuel tank should not be less than 12 Hrs continious run with inlet & outlet arrangement, air vent & drain plug arrangement.
(F) BATTERY 2x12 V 180 AH M/F batteries with connecting leads and terminals.

(G) TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR ACOUSTIC ENCLOSURE
(i) The enclosure shall be modular in construction.
(ii) Base frame shall be made of sheet metal.
(iii) Locking system shall be provided on all doors.
(iv) Doors shall be gasketed with high quality EDPN gasket.
(v) All sheet metal parts / components shall be hot dipped and gone through seven tanks process.
(vi) Sheet metal components shall be painted with pure polyester powder coated.
(vii) Base frame shall be epoxy coated.

(H) ACOUSTIC INSULATION
(i) Sound proofing of the enclosure done with quality foam conforming to IS:8183.
(ii) Acoustic foam shall be FRFS
(iii) Specially designed Residential silencer shall be provided.
(iv) Hooks for lifting / shifting.

(J) VENTILATION AND AIR CIRCULATION
(i) Exhaust pipe is thoroughly insulated by covering it with glass wool and further gladded in enclosure.
(ii) Suitable slots / ventilators need tobe provided in canopy for natural air circulation.
(K) ELECTRICAL
(i) Neutral body earthing points at the sides of enclosure are isolated through Dough Moulded compound.
(ii) A light points with switch need to be provided inside the canopy.

NOTES :-
1. Design / Drawing / BOM of the DG set showing the dimension is to be obtained from the OEM / Authorized supplier and to be got approved from GE before placing final order to the manufacturer.
2. The cost of servicing / minor repairs / replacement such as topping up of coolant, engine oil / lubricating oil as well as lubricating oil filter including periodical checking of the complete DG sets for the defect liability period and as when required is deemed to be included in the quoted rate. 3. Anything missed out in the technical specification but technically required for efficient working of DG set is deemed to be included in the quoted rate.
4. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of first fill of engine oil and final successful acceptance test.
5. The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of all testing arrangement / equipement, resistive load or water load with measuring instruments including POL which shall be made available by the contractor.
6. The foundation drawing for installation of the DG set to be obtained from the manufacturer and the same is to be approved by Accepting Officer before starting the foundation work. The cost of the foundation shall also deemed to be included in the quoted rate.

Note : Earth work, brick protection and sand cushioning and GI Pipe will be measured and paid separately under respective items.

M & L for earthing complete with galvanised steel plate earth electrode 600 mm X 600 mm X 6 mm thick, buried directly in ground (earth pit not less than 2.25 metres deep below ground level) with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 metres below normal ground level, connected to earthing lead of 32 mm X 6 mm galvanised mild steel strip by means of bolts, nuts, check nuts and washers of galvanised iron from earth plate to test point upto 7.5 metre including all as shown in electrical plate No. 3 of SSR Part I (2009) including necessary concrete chamber in cement concrete M15 (Nominal Mix) using 20 mm nominal size coarse aggregate, precast RCC cover slab in cement concrete M15 (Nominal mix) using 20 mm nominal size coarse aggregate of size 40 cm X 40 cm X 5 cm reinforced with 8 mm dia TMT bars @ 150 mm c/c with one handle for lifting made out of 8 mm dia bar, GI funnel, GI wire mesh filter, 20 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for watering, 40 mm dia GI pipe medium grade for protection of earthing lead, charcoal or coke and salt in alternate layers including necessary excavation and earth work in any type of soil/ strata and testing complete all as specified and as directed.
Notes:-
(i) Main earthing strip from earth plate electrode to rest point upto length of 7.5 meters length shall deemed to be included in the unit rate quoted against this item. (ii) On testing after completion if the desired resistenance is not obtained the contractor shall redo the earthing without any extra cost to the department.

Materials and labour for earthing complete with galvanised iron earth plate electrode 600 mm x 600 mm x 6 mm thick, burried directly and preferably vertically in ground, earth pit not less than 2.25 Mtr deep below ground level with top edge of the plate not less than 1.5 m below ground level connetced with galvanised wire of 4mm dia by means of nuts, bolts, check nuts and washers made of galvanised iron or steel earthing lead to be protected by galvanised iron pipe of 15mm bore (light grade) and other end connected to earthing test point or lightening arrestor or main controlling switch as directed including providing funnel with 20mm bore galvanised iron pipe (medium grade), wire mesh, charcoal or coke and common salt in alternate layer of 15cm (compacted thickness) all round the earth electrode, concrete earth pit in PCC (1:3:6) type C-1 (with 20mm graded aggregate), 50mm thick precast RCC (1:2:4) cover slab (re-inforced with 8mm dia TMT bar @ 15 cm C/C bothways and suitable handle made of 10mm dia) including necessary earth work in excavation, returning filling and removal of surplus earth upto a distance not exceeding 50 m etc all as shown on electrical plate No. 3 of MES Schedule Part-I(2009) complete including testing on completion including taking down old unserviciable earthing set all as specified and as directed.
