Schedule'A' Part-I: E&M works

Taking down carefully copper / aluminium point wiring (light, fan, socket or power) complete including fittings such as switches, Bell push, call bell, ceiling rose, sockets, switch sockets, regulator, lamp holder etc by unscrewing from board carefully and keep aside for schedule of credit to contactor including making good of the disturbed surfaces, all as specified and directed.

Material and labour for point wiring (surface type) with PVC insulated 1100 volts grade FRLS unsheathed single core multi-stranded copper conductors 1.5 sqmm (nominal area) for phase, neutral and 1.5 sqmm PVC insulated unsheathed multi-stranded copper conductor cable for earth continuty conductor drawn through and including PVC casing-N- caping (medium duty) double lock type,size of casing caping as required at site but not less than 20mm with fittings and accessories pressed steel sunken terminal box in concealed made out of 1.6 mm thick MS sheet duly painted with two coats of synthetic enamel paint of approved colour over a coat of red oxide zinc chrome primer and covered with 3 mm thick bakelite sheet cover for fixing switches, sockets, regulator etc and earth continuty conductor shall be connected to common earth and earth dolly for one light/fan point controlled by one way switch complete all as specified and as directed. Note for item Nos.2 to 7: (i) Cost of cutting of wall, if any, for housing of metal box and also making good the disturbed surfaces are deemed to be included in unit rate (ii) Wire should be used in proper colour code red/yellow/blue for phase, black for neutral & green for earth
