Southern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing specific categories of work within the last 07 years. The bidder must have completed either: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the bidder must have completed: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, or (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For works costing less than 50 lakhs, no specific eligibility criteria is prescribed. The bidder is also required to have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V represents the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees, and N represents the number of years prescribed for completion of the work.
