The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 7 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The work experience certificate from a private individual shall not be considered, but certificates from government organizations or public listed companies with an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above are acceptable. The eligibility criteria for a single similar work previously executed is any civil engineering work except track work. The bidder needs to provide details of works completed in the last seven years, including description of work, organization for whom executed, approximate value of contract at the time of award, date of award, and date of completion. Additionally, the actual start date, actual completion date, and final value of the contract should also be provided. The bidder should also submit an audited balance sheet, duly certified by a Chartered Accountant, regarding contractual payments received. In terms of specific values, the Price Variation Clause (PVC) shall be applicable only in tenders having an advertised value above Rs. 2 Crores. The bidder should also employ qualified engineers at the work site, with the requirement of one qualified Graduate Engineer for works costing Rs. 200 lakhs and above, and one qualified Diploma holder Engineer for works costing more than Rs. 25 lakhs but less than Rs. 200 lakhs. The bidder needs to ensure that they have the necessary experience and qualifications to undertake the work, and should submit all relevant documents to support their bid. The specific values and percentages mentioned are: - 30% of the advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of the advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of the advertised value of the tender for one similar work - Rs. 200 lakhs and above for one qualified Graduate Engineer - more than Rs.25 lakhs but less than Rs.200 lakhs for one qualified Diploma holder Engineer - Rs. 500 crore and above for average annual turnover of public listed companies - Rs. 2 Crores for the advertised value for the Price Variation Clause (PVC) to be applicable.
