Southern Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 years. These categories include: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. The bidder should submit certificates and testimonials regarding contracting/technical experience for the type of job for which the tender is invited, along with information on works completed in the last seven years. Additionally, for works costing more than Rs.50 Lakhs, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover, calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The bidder should also submit an audited balance sheet duly certified by the Chartered Accountant regarding contractual payments received. In terms of specific values, for works costing more than Rs.5 Crore, and Rs.2 Crores for the applicability of the Price Variation Clause (PVC), and Rs.50 Lakhs, Rs.200 lakhs, and Rs.25 lakhs for the deployment of qualified engineers, the tenderer should meet the specified conditions. The selection of the tenderer may be based on the value of similar work done in the last three previous financial years and the current financial year up to the date of opening of tender, in case of more than one L-1 bidders.
