Southern Railway Tender

The bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, or (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. In case of tenders for composite works, the requirements are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. The similar work is defined as experience in any Civil Engineering work except track works/transportation, with work experience certificate from a Public listed company having average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in last 3 financial years. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years, except for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh where no previous work experience is required.
