Southern Railway Tender

The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed or substantially completed specific categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years. These categories are: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, for works costing more than Rs.50 lakhs, the tenderer must have a minimum average annual contractual turnover of V/N or 'V' whichever is less, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of work. The average annual contractual turnover shall be calculated as an average of "total contractual payments" in the previous three financial years. The bidder should also have experience in Construction/Rehabilitation Work of Bridges/ROB/RUB/Subway under rail-traffic conditions. No specific eligibility criteria are prescribed for works costing less than 50 lakhs.
