The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing similar works within the last 7 years. The specific requirements are as follows: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. Additionally, for subcontractors, the requirement is to have successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, within the last 5 years. However, for subletting work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. For non-lead members of a joint venture, they must have satisfactorily completed or substantially completed during the last 7 years, one similar single work for a minimum of 25% of the advertised value of the tender. For works with composite components, each non-lead member of the JV shall have technical capacity of minimum 25% of the cost of any component of work mentioned in the technical eligibility criteria. The amount of similar works completed should be at least equal to the advertised value of the tender, and the bidder should have received payment for such works. The overall cost of the completed work, including the PVC amount, is considered for evaluating similar works. In case of substantially completed work, the total gross amount already paid, including the PVC amount, is considered as the cost of substantially completed work.
