The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. For subcontractors, the requirement is at least one work similar to the work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of the subcontractor is required. The bidder should have prior work experience in contracting/Technical experience for the type of job for which tender is invited, as evidenced by the submission of certificates and testimonials. Specific values and percentages for similar works completed are mentioned as 30%, 40%, and 60% of the advertised value of the tender, and 35% of the value of the work to be subletted for subcontractors.
