The required prior work experience for the bidder includes successfully completing or substantially completing any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of the tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of the tender, (iii) One similar work costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of the tender. In the case of composite works, the tenderer must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 (seven) years: (i) Three similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 30% of advertised value of each component of tender, (ii) Two similar works each costing not less than the amount equal to 40% of advertised value of each component of tender, (iii) One similar work each costing not less than the amount equal to 60% of advertised value of each component of tender. For subletting of work, the subcontractor must have successfully completed at least one work similar to work proposed for subcontract, costing not less than 35% value of work to be subletted, in the last 5 years. However, for subletting of work costing up to Rs 50 lakh, no previous work experience of subcontractor is required. The values and percentages of similar works completed are as follows: - 30% of advertised value of the tender for three similar works - 40% of advertised value of the tender for two similar works - 60% of advertised value of the tender for one similar work - 30% of advertised value of each component of tender for three similar works in composite works - 40% of advertised value of each component of tender for two similar works in composite works - 60% of advertised value of each component of tender for one similar work in composite works - 35% value of work to be subletted for subletting of work.
