Cutting of grass and bushes upto 10cm above ground level or user defined level by grass cutting machine (Jungle Jim) attached with tractor and scrapping with spades including removal of rubbish to a distance exceeding 1000 m outside the MD land complete all as specified and directed by Engineer-in-Charge. Note: (a) Grass cutting (Six times or as per user requirement) to be carried out around the airfield operational area all as directed by Engineer-In-Charge. (b) Each cutting area shall be measured separately.(c) Rate quoted for the item is for each cutting. (d) For each cutting one Jungle Jim with tractor including fuel and operator shall be deployed along with 02 laborers for helping jungle Jim operator, sweeping movement area and collection/disposal of grasses. (e) The bushes and shrubs shall be cut and uprooted manually or by locally available machine with operator. (f) The quoted rate is deemed to be inclusive of all said work and nothing extra is admissible on this account. (g) All works to be executed inside technical area. The site for the work will be available in piece meal and also may be in flying days. No claim for nonavailability of site in every working days will be entertained. Contractor shall quote his rates considering the above bottlenecks. (h) The vintage of the Jungle Jim shall not be more than 2 years from the date of acceptance of tender. The contractor shall submit the documentary evidence like purchase voucher to ascertain the vintage of the jungle Jim before the commencement of grass cutting work. (J) If the Jungle Jim gets breakdown during the period of grass cutting the same shall be rectified in one day. During the non operational period of Jungle Jim Rs.8000/- per day will be recovered from the contractor.

Material and labour for painting Runway/Taxi track/ Apron marking with mechanized runway/road marking Air spray Painting equipment with one coat to give uniform finish using IS164 road marking water base paint of superior make like Asian/Berger/Nerolac/ITS Coatings or equivalent (Paint spreading rate per liter should be 6.02 Sqm for one coat) as approved by the Engineer-in-charge including cleaning the surface of all dirt, scales, oil, grease and other foreign material etc and lining out complete one coat of old work with white, black colours etc. complete all as specified and as directed. Note: i) One coat shall be applied two times during the contract period as per users requirement. ii) The existing paint peels/flakes shall be removed completely by using wire metal brush, metal scrapper, mechanized wire brush etc.,spraying water jet pressure washer complete as per direction of Engr-In-Charge/User satisfaction. iii) The quoted rate deemed to be inclusive of all works mentioned against the item. T&P for pressure washer and nothing extra shall be claimed by the contractor on this account.

Material and labour Painting of Taxi way, / Apron marking with Retro Reflective road marking paint of superior make of Apco track / Fast track WBR 3427 of Asian/Berger/Nerolac/ITS Coatings or equivalent paint with Air spray Painting equipment including the application of high index glass beads (TTB 1325 type III and having refractive index 1.9 of Potters make or equivalent. The painting shall be done for the existing Taxiway / Apron markings as per the recommended dimensions as per direction of Engineer-in-charge. The existing surface shall be cleaned thoroughly off dirt, dust, scales, oil grease etc. before application of the paint. The painting to be applied should have a single coat coverage of @0.50 litre per sqm for paint and 500 grams per sqm for glass beads with One coat on old/new work for White, Yellow, Red colors. Note:- Retro reflective paint shall be applied as per manufacturers instructions along with MORTH Technology and specialty complete.
