Work Experience Requirements
Bidders must have satisfactorily completed similar stainless steel (SS) 304L piping projects in India during the last seven years. Completed three similar works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated cost, or two similar works each costing not less than 60% of the estimated cost, or one similar work costing not less than 80% of the estimated cost. Similar work means Supply, Fabrication and Erection of Stainless Steel & CS piping works (OR) Supply and Fabrication of Stainless Steel equipment & Stainless Steel piping works. The value of executed works shall be brought to the current costing level by enhancing the actual value of work at a simple rate of 7% per annum.

Class-I / II Local Supplier as defined in Public Procurement (Preference to Make in India), Order-2017, Order No. “P-45021/2/2017-B.E.-II, Revision, dated 16/09/2020 and as amended from time to time.
Bid Capacity
Bidding Capacity = {[A x N x 2] – B}
Where, A= Maximum turnover in construction works executed in any one year during the last five years (completed and ongoing works, completed works adjusted for inflation at 7% annually), N= Number of years prescribed for completion of work, B = Value of existing commitments and ongoing works to be completed during the project's timeframe. The bidding capacity should be equal to or more than the estimated cost of the work.
Technical Capacity
The bidder's technical capacity must meet or exceed the estimated project cost, calculated using the specified formula. Bidders must provide proof of ability, detailing similar works carried out, including specifics on sub-contractors employed. A detailed construction schedule (CPM/PERT chart) is required.
Technical Specification
Chemical cleaning, preparation of fabrication drawings and isometric drawings, fabrication and erection of pipe-in-pipe lines, supply of SS & CS materials, fabrication and erection of pipe supports, fabrication and erection of SS ducts. Surface treatment of tanks and welding of saddle supports are also required. Necessary tools and tackles, a hydra crane, and a trailer must be provided. Specific machinery and tools are also required (Welding generators, X-ray systems, DM water plant, air compressor, lab setup, computers, hydra-crane, trolley). The bidder must meet ASME Section III / Section VIII standards.
