The required prior work experience for the bidder is supported by a work experience certificate, which can be issued by any Government Organisation or a Public listed company having an average annual turnover of Rs 500 crore and above in the last 3 financial years. For the bidder, the average annual contractual turnover should be at least the advertised value of the tender divided by the number of years prescribed for completion of the work, or at least 1.5 V/N crores, where V is the advertised value of the tender in crores of Rupees and N is the number of years prescribed for completion of the work. The value of similar works completed is considered as per the following conditions: - For substantially completed work, payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. - If a work is physically completed and a completion certificate is issued, but the final bill is pending, such work can be considered for fulfillment of credentials. The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed at least one work similar to the work proposed, costing not less than 35% of the value of the work to be subcontracted, in the last 5 years. For subletting of work, no previous work experience is required for work costing up to Rs 50 lakh. The bidder should submit details of similar works completed or substantially completed in the last seven years, including the value of the completed work, which should be mentioned in lakhs of Rs. The percentage of similar works completed is not less than 35% and 90% for substantially completed work. Detailed monetary values mentioned include Rs 50 lakh for subletting of work with no previous work experience required, and Rs 500 crore as the average annual turnover for the public listed company issuing the work experience certificate.
