The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work, in the last five years. The bidder should also have experience of at least a certain number of years in the field of civil engineering construction. The bidder is required to have prior work experience in similar works, which can be demonstrated by completing the information in FORMAT 2-2, including details such as identification number of contract, name of contract, location of works, type of works, and value of the total contract. The bidder is also required to provide details of their share of work in the contract, including earthwork, Granular sub-base/base, RE Walls, Concrete in bridges, and other specified requirements, and submit a certificate from the employer showing details of their share of work. The amount of similar works completed is required to be mentioned in FORMAT 2-3, which includes details such as detail of work and amount (Rs.). The bidder's prior work experience is assessed based on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years. The bidder should have completed works of a similar nature, and provide information on their current commitments on all contracts that have been awarded, including the contract value, percentage of work completed, and the estimated amount of work outstanding. The bidder's available bid capacity, calculated as per clause 4.4, should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. The maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years should be updated to the price level of the year indicated in the Appendix to ITB. The bidder should also submit an undertaking that their available bid capacity is more than the estimated value of the project/work, and that they will be able to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation. The bidder should have a minimum annual financial turnover of 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years. For works above Rs. 5.00 Crores, the bidder should have completed similar works as a prime contractor, or as a nominated sub-contractor where the sub-contract involved execution of all main items of work, with values not less than the specified percentages of the estimated cost of work.
