The required prior work experience for the bidder is related to experience in the type of job for which the tender is invited. The bidder should have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of the tender, - One similar work costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of the tender. For composite works, the bidder must have successfully completed or substantially completed any one of the following categories of work(s) during the last 07 years: - Three similar works each costing not less than 30% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - Two similar works each costing not less than 40% of the advertised value of each component of the tender, - One similar work each costing not less than 60% of the advertised value of each component of the tender. The bidder is also required to submit details of their maximum value of construction works executed and payment received in any one of the previous three financial years or the current financial year. A substantially completed work means an ongoing work in which payment equal to or more than 90% of the present contract value has been made to the contractor. No specific amount or percentage is mentioned as a requirement for the bidder's prior work experience, except for the mentioned percentages of similar works completed. However, for tenders having advertised value up to Rs 50 lakh, no technical and financial credentials are required.
