Description all as per Srl item No 3 above, but except material (Note : Material as retrieved from Srl item Nos 1 & 2 above shall be used for execution of this item)

Preparing unsurfaced water bound mecadum surface by brushing with wire brush for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the cleaned surfaces with mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirts and applying evenly a priming/tack coat (paving bitumen VG10 grade) @ 10 Kg per 10 Sqm complete all as specified and as directed by Engr-in-Charge.

M&L for Premix bituminous, macadam laid/rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber (consolidated thickness 75mm or less) with paving bitumen ( VG -30) @ 4% by weight of total Mix laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required gradient and camber using 8 to 10 tonne capacity power roller/tendem vibratory roller to achieve smooth uniform surface complete all as specified and directed. (Note : Compated thickness shall be measured & paid).

M&L for preparation of black top surface of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 5Kg per 10Sqm of road for laying bituminous macadam complete all as specified and directed.

M&L for Preparation of newly laid black top surfaces of road by brushing with wire brushes for removing caked mud etc, sweeping with brooms and finally fanning the surfaces by mechanical compressor to remove all loose dirt and applying evenly a priming/tack coat with paving bitumen VG 10 grade @ 2 Kg per 10Sqm of road surface and laying bituminous premixed semi dense asphaltic concrete 30mm thick (consolidated thickness) using binder (Bitumen VG-30 grade) contents @ 5.5 % by weight of total mix, mixed in Hot mix Plant and laid by using self propelled mechanical paver, rolled and compacted to required camber & gradient using 8 to 10 tonne power roller/tandem vibrating roller to achieve uniform smooth surface complete all as specified and directed. Note :- for Srl Item No. 06 and 08 - (i) The actual binder content for BM & SDAC used shall be as per optimised content based on approved job mix formula irrespective of what ever indicated in BOQ. (ii) Price adjustment shall be done on MINUS side only @ Rs. 46900/- per MT (without considering the permissible tolerance on minus side) with reference to binder content indicated in BOQ. (iii) No Price adjustment for Bitumen shall be done for variation on plus side.

M&L for Thermoplastic road marking paint not less than 2mm thick, white or golden yellow in colour, conforming to BS-3262, in lines, arrow, dashes & letters not exceeding 15cm in width, applied hot, using application unit and retroreflective glass beads @ 250 to 300 gram/Sqm to withstand vehicular traffic load, laid as per manufacture's instructions etc complete all as specified and directed.
