The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having completed at least one similar work with a value of not less than 80% of the estimated cost of the work. Alternatively, they can have completed two similar works each with a value of not less than 50% of the estimated cost, or three similar works each with a value of not less than 40% of the estimated cost. The value and percentage of similar works completed are: - Minimum annual financial turnover: 400% of the estimated cost of work - Minimum cash investment: up to 25% of the contract value of work - Minimum value of similar works: equal to at least the estimated cost of the work - 50% of the estimated price of particular works - 80% of the estimated price of particular works - 40% of the estimated cost of the work The bidder should also have experience in similar works, with details to be provided in the application, and should have been in the business of similar works for a certain number of years. They should not have left any work awarded to them incomplete, and should provide details of any such instances if they have occurred. Additionally, for works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 400% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years, and should have completed similar works with a value equal to at least the estimated cost of the work. The bidder should have satisfactorily completed similar works in the last five years ending last day of month previous to the one in which bids are invited as a prime Contractor. The bidder's available bid capacity, calculated as per clause 4.4, should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder should have completed works as a prime contractor or as a nominated sub-contractor, where the subcontract involved execution of all main items of work described in the bid document, provided that all other qualification criteria are satisfied. The bidder must have experience as a Prime Contractor or Sub-Contractor, and must provide information on their experience in similar works. The bidder must also provide information on whether they have ever left any work awarded to them incomplete. The required experience includes: - Two similar completed works each costing not less than the amount equal to 50% of the estimated price of particular works. - Alternatively, one similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to 80% of the estimated price of particular works. The prime civil contractor will engage/identify their subcontractor for execution of specific works, having valid enlistment from any government agency and satisfactory qualification criteria of similar nature of work. One similar completed work costing not less than the amount equal to the estimated price of particular works is also considered.
