For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder should have satisfactorily completed in the last five years, as a prime contractor, one similar work of value not less than 80% of the estimated cost of work, or two similar works each of value not less than 50% of the estimated cost of work, or three similar works each of value not less than 40% of the estimated cost of work.
The bidder should have achieved a minimum annual financial turnover equal to 40% of the estimated cost of work in any one of the last three financial years.
The bidder should also provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported by performance certificates from the authority for whom the work has been completed, including name of work, estimated cost, date of start, and date of completion.
The bidder should have available bid capacity, calculated as per clause 4.4, of more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder should also undertake to invest a minimum cash up to 25% of the contract value of work during implementation of the work.
The minimum value of one similar work is not less than 80% of the estimated cost, the minimum value of two similar works is not less than 50% of the estimated cost, and the minimum value of three similar works is not less than 40% of the estimated cost.
