The required prior work experience for the bidder includes having successfully completed similar works during the last 5 years. The experience can be in the form of: - Three similar completed works each costing not less than 40% of the estimated price of the particular work. - Two similar completed works each costing not less than 50% of the estimated price of the particular work. - One similar completed work costing not less than 80% of the estimated price of the particular work. The bidder should also provide details of their experience as a Prime Contractor, in a Joint Venture, or as a Sub-Contractor, including the number of years of experience and the country where the work was carried out. Additionally, the bidder should provide information on the maximum value of Civil Engineering works executed in any one year during the last five years, updated to the current price level. For works above Rs 5.00 Crore, the bidder is required to provide a list of similar works completed during previous years, duly supported by a performance certificate from the authority for whom the work was completed. The bidder must also undertake to invest a minimum cash amount of 25% of the contract value of the work during its implementation. The bidder's available bid capacity should be more than the estimated value of the project/work. The bidder should have completed similar works with a value of at least the estimated value of the project/work.
