The required prior work experience for the bidder includes experience in eligible projects, which are categorized into four types. The bidder should have completed at least one similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost from the eligible projects in Category 1 and/or Category 3. The experience for each category would be computed as per the weight of the following factors to arrive at its aggregated Eligible Experience: - Category 1: 1 - Category 2: 0.75 - Category 3: 1 - Category 4: 0.75 The specific amount and percentage of similar works completed are: - 20% of the Estimated Project Cost for one similar work in Category 1 and/or Category 3. - 90% of the value of work for completion - 20% of the Estimated Project Cost for completed value of work - 60% of the requirement for the Lead Member in a Joint Venture - 20% of the requirement for each of the other JV members - 20% of the Estimated Project Cost for one similar work completed by any of the JV members - 26% equity during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed for Categories 1 and 2 - 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost for capital cost of the project for Categories 1 and 2 - 50% of the longest span or 100m for similar project span for Major Bridges/ROB/Flyovers projects - More than Rs. 36.86 Crore over the past 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date - Rs. 4.99 crore for normal Highway projects, which is 20% of Estimated Project Cost. The bidder should furnish the details of Eligible Experience for the last 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. The bidder must provide the necessary information relating to Technical Capacity as per the specified format. In case of projects executed by the applicant under category 3 and 4 as a member of a Joint Venture, the project cost should be restricted to the share of the applicant in the joint venture for determining eligibility. The bidder should have completed similar work of 20% of the Estimated Project Cost in Category 1 and/or Category 3, individually by any of the JV members as a single work. For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 1 and 2, the entity claiming experience should have held a minimum of 26% equity during the entire year for which Eligible Experience is being claimed, and the capital cost of the project should be more than 5% of the amount specified as the Estimated Project Cost. The entity claiming experience shall, during the last 5 financial years preceding the Bid Due Date, have itself undertaken the construction of the project for an amount equal to at least one half of the Project Cost of eligible projects. For a project to qualify as an Eligible Project under Categories 3 and 4, the Bidder should have received payments from its client(s) for construction works executed, fully or partially, or work executed and certified by the Engineer-in-charge/Independent Engineer/Authority's Engineer during the 5 financial years immediately preceding the Bid Due Date. The amounts (gross) actually received/work executed during such 5 financial years shall qualify for purposes of computing the Experience Score. However, receipts of or work executed amount less than 5% of the Estimated Project Cost shall not be reckoned as receipts for Eligible Projects.
